Average salary of a mine worker WA $85k versus Minas Gerais $10k. Not sure how accurate this is - I would have thought the average WA mining salary would be 6 figures, not 5. But the point is made nonetheless - costs in Brazil are a fraction of Australia. So all other things being equal (of course they aren’t), Brazil should produce larger profits for every tonne of spodumee concentrate shipped.
