spec shares cant all just go up eventually... some bottom out and never recover or drop off the ASX. Can't treat them like a bluechip and hold forever. Spec shares spend 95% of their time trending down and the other 5% that goes up are off the back of announcements... which do not last long... so my opinion is that it is very easy to sell and buy back at a lower price than to hold and potentially wait years. this is because if you sell at any point, the odds are in your favour that you will have the opportunity to buy back at a lower price.... no matter the time you sell.
