MARKET UPDATE TRANSACTION WITH LS-NIKKO COPPER
Sandfire Resources NL (ASX: SFR; Sandfire) advises that discussions with LS-Nikko Copper Inc. regarding the
conditional agreement announced on 23 July 2010 are ongoing.
The conditions relating to respective Board approvals and Foreign Investment Review Board (FIRB) approval
currently remain unsatisfied. If the conditions of the July agreement are not met by 26 October 2010, then the
proposed transaction will lapse.
