ADVFN has the same problem as HC...lots of idiots who are just plain antagonistic...happy to destroy rather than build. I often do as harlee and walk away for a while.
As for nominees, it sounds like things are pretty much the same in both markets. For instance my electronic trading account is a nominee account where I'm the beneficial, but not the actual (as shown on the share register), owner. It happens to be Pershing.
