Regards England, I'm guessing the ASX is dictated to by the LSE as they hold >65% of the register and the Money Managers(MM) there control the liquidity.
Unlike here with the matched buy/sell market, over there the MM's can buy and hold stock and create demand through the spread.
The LSE/AIM financially is a far larger market, thus as the little brother, it seems we are required to play second fiddle.
There have been times where the ASX has run ahead only to be reigned in and likewise with the AIM, for the clever amongst us this can provide trading opportunity.
Just my thoughts, while we wait.
