I get the impression that the reason they are doing a vertical is because the HRZ layer is deeper than they may have thought and they think there may be different flows at different levels.
Would they then not need this accuracy in a new well, or do they base the horizontal off the seismic and slant it in at the point they think the best layer occurs?
