thank you paulbooma - if only I knew what to make of it!

I don't have charting software so was having difficulty annotating charts with trend lines etc, but found a handy cheap ($US19.95) screen capture program from 'Faststone' which allows images to be annotated and saved as BMP, JPG, GIF etc, which makes life a lot easier - up to now all my images have been BMP which are 5-10 times bigger than JPG files and were slow to upload, maybe useful for those in the same boat I was.....
