As for where the share price will head on Monday? What a question....but here is my 2 cents worth in three convoluted paragraphs.

Prior to AHF announcing the CDC acquisition the price peaked at 36 cents last year and then wandered down to about 13 cents. During that time they did some capital raising and bought some farms and stock and put in place a farm operations manager to manage across their acquired farms. Nothing excited the market much as most people could not seem to get their head around the pure-dairy farm play but the moment they announced the CDC acquisition things got interesting as people hopped across from any other stock that had the word "dairy" in it. The price rushed to 59 cents on pure speculation and enthusiasm and has settled back to just under its pre-announcement high of 36 cents.

The price of 13 cents was too low at the time but then the 36 cents was a bit top heavy as well, I always though around the mid-20 cents range was about right. Anything under that was good accumulating. Liquidity in the company has changed due to the canadian super fund exiting but they will be back now the price has settled and may well be back via a private placement but not until this gets closer to the upcoming options exercise price of 25 cents at the end of March this year.

Settlement of the CDC acquisition is planned for end of January this year, subject to final due diligence. So if you take the current earnings of CDC as will be included in the AHF accounts at some time in the future then I would suggest it will push back up to about 36 cents and be reasonable stable at that price give or take 10%. Between now and then I don't think the price will do what it has just done and to try and play the short game would be tough and fraught with danger for beginners. For me, I think it will settle back over the coming weeks in the absence of new news as many holders who also have the options ejected their shares during the excitement and can choose to exercise their options before March.

SWAG = around 30 - 32 cents.

Do you think they were ahead of the market in this acquisition with CIQ certification, and what value could be placed solely on this CIQ certification. Is it the only one of two available or how many others are there? And how difficult or costly would one be to acquire?
