I don't want to curb anyone's enthusiasm, but I'm left wondering why this good news will lead to a lithium price rebound soon? Won't the reports (if true) of increasing lithium inventories throughout the whole supply chain still take time to work through the system?

What this result certainly highlights are that fears of EV sales being decimated are overblown. I think this makes it clear that demand still exists despite concerns over some current limitations of EV's. So, any decline in sales is likely just a reflection on economic situations (i.e. people can't currently afford them rather than not wanting them) that will be become a blip in the rearview mirror once conditions improve.
