Creating this thread for discussion of a potential takeover of LTR because some million dollar discussions have been made elsewhere but they’re scattered around various threads.

I think this topic is relevant to LTR because LTR is now a prime target according to the below link. This is an article in May 2019 but it’s still relevant considering LTR’s unique status, and that M&A in the sector is expected to continue. (Also KDR TO is still in progress.) There are still players looking for a big prey. Note the context of the article, it’s from an event in Barcelona just over two months ago where majors signaled their intentions. The big players don’t often change their mind overnight as far as their long term goal and strategy is concerned such as to dip their big toes in the EV/green revolution.

We also know that our chairman has a history of discovering resources and selling them for the benefit of shareholders.

Imo, LTR is primed soonish but do DYOR as usual and this is for discussion purposes only and not endorsement to buy or sell your stocks.

Here are some links. I’m also leveraging @anatol post 26 June 2019 for additional links to info shared on the topic. If struggling to find the post, just copy the post ref number and search it on hotcopper.

    - What major players look for in a target, post by anatol

Post #:38797274- The list of companies for; takeover, JV partner, offtake partner, etc. Possibilities!

Post #:38760611- There is no other undeveloped resource other than KV in Australia even in the world at its size (60mt as shown on company anns.). All the others are being mined atm as seen on the bubble chart here.

Post #:38767403- FMG is very serious about going into the lithium business. FMG has done a lot about lithium exploration so far but no chance to find anything good. FMG will pull out from Portugal soon IMO..... Not all lithium is equal. This is a big issue for some of the lithium concentrate producers in Australia atm.

Post #:38786873- How to valuate 60mt @1.40% Li2O at Kathleen Valley. How to justify $450m market cap! How Siruis Resources (ex SIR.ASX) stock price went from 4.7c to $2.5 in just two months!

Post #:38719562- LTR has surprised everyone in stock market; Surprised very experienced day traders, short term traders. Surprised me too, even though I have done a good research.

Post #:38720386- Let's be conservative; Let's not talk about 100mt for Kathleen valley. 60mt is more than enough for valuation of company above $450m. (but Buldania project is not included!) -

UPDATE: take into account the fact that we have now proven 75MT and LTR’s latest move, we’re on our way to expand further. Very likely over 100MT for KV
