I no longer bother with charts these days, especially with junior explorers. But its not difficult to imagine how charts can be used to predict the actions of those who DO follow charts and therefore assist chartists to make short term gains. Very likely it's even easier if bots include the same logic and capability (together with market depth data) in their programming. Ever notice how often chart threads and bots pop up simultaneously? A coincidence maybe?
