    Regardless of the other things in the timeline, I think it's important to note that the Saudi's did not invest additional due to regulatory limitations (10%) on what they are permitted to own. So it's not just a case of the of a large shareholder not putting more money into its investment, they couldn't. This is an important piece of information that's omitted in the post.
