Does anyone have the latest broker report (after May 3rd)?

I am wondering why Credit Suisse is buying so much!
(Btw, let's not forget that CS is taken over by UBS. I don't know what's the relation between their stock broking departments)

After I make some work on the past broker reports I can now thing that CS is not buying for covering shorts. Then what is it for?

We know that when LTR announced ALB's takeover offer on March 28 JP Morgan bought 44m+ and Morgan Stanley bought 22m+ shares only that day to cover their shorts. They covered 66m of their 200m shorts.

However CS only bought 1m+ shares that day. That tells me that CS was not in a huge short position or even no short position at all.

March 28 broker report below;


However CS was net buyer of 24.6m shares in a full month of April (between April 3 to 28).

Goldman Sachs was also net buyer of 12m shares.



This one below is the last broker report I've got.
CS kept buying in the first day of May, was net buyer of 6.4m in 4 days.

I don't know the latest situation.



Questions to be asked;

• If CS is a buyer on the market how will the shorters (of 113m shares as of May 3rd) close their short positions?
• Why is CS buying so much?
• Is CS buying for a prospective buyer?
• Is it for WES or RIO.
  

Time will tell.
I don't care any more than this.
The rest is their problem.
