Perhaps ASIC should ask themselves that if shorting wasn't permitted then short squeezes wouldn't occur and there wouldn't be a need to make warning videos about them. The sentiment is fine - do your own research - but investment should be conducted on a level playing field and companies be allowed to trade on their merits.
