Recalling the history of AVZ, it was ahead of LTR in timing to production when both were explorers 4-5 years ago, and many were expecting Manono to start delivering spod before 2025. (And LTR after 2025.) Now we are seeing that Sinomine doesn’t have enough with spod supplied from their owned mine in Zimbabwe (Bikita). So let’s see what happens with Goulamina (LLL). Over the common delays and overpromises of any African project, we will see if any spod cames finally out of Mali. There’s a civil war in the country and the government is far to have the situation under control: they’ve lost half of the territory to the rebels and they rely on foreign mercenaries (Russians) to fight the insurgence.
Analysts and shorters are confident on promises. The reality of the supply is not so rose-coloured as they would like.
