Given the last two days trading I thought it time to “refresh” this thread.

Where to from here for those lucky enough to be short atm?  Almost 11 million shares sold short into yesterday’s rally. Ok, some may have been bough back on the day but that’s one hell of a brave call in my book. How many were sold short today I wonder? Quite a few I’m guesssing. What is their game? Do they have an exit strategy?

From where I sit the ‘easy money’ with a short on LTR was ‘nuked’ with the LGES convertible note deal. The shorts were completely blindsided and surely should have started taking some money off the table but no, after a day or two they just piled on more shorts. Roll forward a few weeks and the supply/demand imbalance is looking a lot less ‘favourable’ for the shorters in the near term let alone the longer term after yesterday’s news. If @anatol is close to the mark, and I believe he’s much closer to than mark than any analyst, then, imho, we could be talking a supply deficit in the next few months…

Been a happy LTR shareholder for just shy of 5 years and can see no reason to sell for many years unless a compelling offer comes our way. Could lightning strike twice in the same place? Absolutely! If it does then so be it as I’m just a retail shareholder along for the ride but it would obliterate the shorts. Couldn’t happen to a nicer bunch…
