Shorters covering their shorts
that is the short squeeze...
On my post above I said;
"At that day (Jan.23 Monday) I didn't know they were stupidly still shorting. We learned next day on Tuesday Jan 24th that they shorted another 8m shares on Monday Jan. 23rd.Now we will see a short chart as below on next Monday's Jan 29th (that must be 30th) chart. (Marked in red by me)"
Now today is Monday the 30th and we can see the on Shortman (actually ASIC data) chart that while some shorters shorted 8m shares on Jan 23rd but some shorters bought 10m share to cover their position in same day.
As you can see on the chart below number of shorted shares went down to 160.4m on Jan 23 from 162.3 on Jan 20.
After that day sp went up for 4 days including today.
So my conclusion is the short squeeze was and is already happening.
