Hi Goldi, I think the S of A (scheme or arrangement) process needs firstly 50% of voter base to patricipate and secondly of those that do vote 75% to agree.
Could be wrong but it was something like that from the possible ALB scheme until thwarted by GR.
So that may change your calculations perhaps.
Also some one else suggested 80% of shareholding was enough to compulsory obtain ownership of remaining shares but I thought it was 90%.
A S of A is an agreement giving 100% control if accepted, it is not a compulsory takeover situation. Hence why S of A are preferred as no guarantee otherway until 90%.
Feel free for anyone to correct my understanding, I am only going by memory and havent checked.
