Did you miss the 1.50 - 2.50 - 3 in a matter of weeks? that was around 12 months ago now.
27 march 2023 9% short. 20th July 2023 2.6%. you can check that against the stock price at the time.
yes the shorts have established their position again...but you can't leave for 12months and check back and ignore everything that went on....just saying.
