I read the info below and provide the link:
A Tesla Model S’ battery, for example, contains around 62.6 kg (138 pounds) of lithium.

I take 62.6kg lithium as LCE. Is this correct? This implies the batteries are now more efficient, given the Model S is 100KWh i.e no longer 0.9kg LCE for each KWh of battery.
In any event, every time I look at this calculation, it is surprising how much scope there is for a rise in SC6 price without drastically affecting car price.
