Sometimes it's better the devil you know. Nothing wrong with wanting to work with people you 1st hand know are capable. But, yes, someone with chemical/downstream knowledge should of been given preference. Also need some local know how. An experienced canadian/ north american miner with a few good connections will go a long way.
