Press reports this morning suggest an August 2011 date and an estimated $1b cost overrun for Pluto. Although no 'official' word from WPL as yet, their response is that an 'update' to the market is coming shortly
It would seem that Shell was very lucky with the timing of their 10% stake recently. At around the low (very low) $40 mark on Commsec trading screens this morning, it would seem Shell has made a very astute financial decision indeed.
So while talk on Hotcopper continues to centre on the mouth watering prospect of a potential BHP takeover, should such an event happen, maybe the price Shell sold it's 10% stake could eventually be the price to be considered?
