The PM is lucky in having a wife who is a peer and colleague as well. Lucy Turnbull is a former Lord Mayor and experienced lawyer, company chair, published author, runs an investment company and is an Officer of the Order of Australia. Regarding parliamentary governance, she comes from a distinguished family - her father was formerly Australia's Attorney General - and she has written on governance issues.
I would hope that the PM regularly consults with a range of people, including his partner in life - an exceptional Australian in her own right.
