Clearly there's the east and west directions. One of the big questions that opens up 40-50Mt+ possibilities is what about to the North?
If you look at the magnetics pictures there's what could be described as railway track magnetic high's. To the south of these tracks GT1 has now defined a 10.1Mt resource. GT1 is exploring east and west of the existing JORC resource while remaining close to the southern magnetic high.
When GT1 went north they put a string of 6 holes into the southern magnetic high and they all came up as dusters. They barely intercepted pegmatite and there were no good intercepts. The two holes that were between the magnetic high tracks were also dusters. GT1 sensibly focused their efforts on where they were finding mineralised intercepts. If GT1 were to go another 100-150m north they would hit the northern magnetic high railway track. That is also most likely a duster.
The interesting question is what about a bit further north again - all that zone to the north of the northern track? Is there any chance we have a geological magnetic mirror image structure centred on the region between the two magnetic high's? If this were the case, the 5km+ east and west to the north of the magnetic railway tracks could also potentially support mineralised pegmatites.
If anything the area to the north is the more traditional greenstone belt which already includes McCombe and Morrison.
Another wildcard is the eastern drilling is getting to be within a few hundred metres of the previously stated gold grab. A little bit of gold fever could help the share price?
