Technically man made diamonds are type 2a, though can be differentiated with the right equipment.
The average price for Lulo alluvials are very high, even Mothae and Merlin are well above world average, but for every "special" there are many lower quality or colour diamonds, so it potentially impact the viability or profitability of any mine.
