    Two PRC factories introduced by Vertigo were awarded the supply contracts and Vertigo was successful in securing the $US200,000 design and QA services to oversee the quality of the product supplied from the factories in China and to provide design variations where required.
    The Dubai Bus Shelter Project is worth over $US10 million to supply bus shelters and other street furniture in the municipality.
    Vertigo anticipates receiving further work on the Dubai project and is well-positioned to market services throughout the Middle East.
    Also, Vertigo has received its first order in relation to the Beijing Olympics.
    The equestrian events are to be held at the Jockey Club in Hong Kong and Vertigo has been appointed by Swiss Timing Ltd (Omega) to supply infrastructure for the first LED panel being used for the event.
    During the quarter Vertigo secured a contract for the initial supply of 200 notice boards to schools throughout the Shanghai Province.
    The Hong Kong Airport project (retail signage) was completed in January 2007 and the first of the unipoles (standalone outdoor advertising structures) for deployment onto Indian Reservation Lands on the edge of major highways in the USA was shipped in December 06 with further orders
    expected in the coming months.

    Project Description
    Dubai Outdoor Media (DOM) is an outdoor advertising company specialising in large format outdoor media signage in Dubai. In collaboration with Vertigo Asia Limited, Merx acted as the project manager to manage all aspects of this project. Merx provided full-time project management to look at design, local engineering requirements and approval by local authorities. On behalf of the client, the Merx team sourced materials, tendered trade packages, procured contractors and managed the quality & logistics of all imported products. The installation involved use of cranes and specialist electrical works.
    The Star Mast design included some new features in unipole design such as 360-degree signboard exposure with 6 faces for banner installation. Total height of the Star Mast is 27.5m. Merx also acted as project manager for additional services required as part of the project during subsequent stages and close out.
