Since the middle of 2017 the price of lumber as quoted on the CME has doubled. We are in the midst of the biggest lumber bull market in more than a decade.
Has this had an impact on the production price of wooden pallets?
If the answer is yes, then the key ingredient used in making the main competitors product is rapidly rising and the key ingredient used in making your own product is collapsing, this would seem to indicate a fortuitous bullish tailwind for the producer of pallets made from the latter.
