Haven't been closely following the market recently, but had a quick look at Straits Resources (SRQ), our former (and current?) "partners in crime" for Lake Torrens ... and they appear to be on the brink of imploding ... Their share price went down to a mere 7c a week ago from nearly 80c in April this year (12.5c today).
Not that I had any expectation of anything happening at Lake Torrens in the near future, especially with Zambia being the clear focus for ARE.
I would suggest that Lake Torrens is now a "dead duck" ... not even worth mentioning ... at least not in our lifetime.
And how different things may have been for SRQ had they been give the opportunity to drill Lake Torrens!
Just goes to show how pathetic the SA Government is! Why issue exploration permits when one can't even explore let alone mine! They should just turn Lake Torrens into a world heritage site like they did with Arkaroola!
Oh well, c'est la vie ... at least the natives are happy!
