Have a read of this post from TJSkins on 21/1. It provides a good summary of Lupus trials/scheduled results but still raises the question of the recruitment ststus.

"Twigman, the announcement on July 18 2013 - 'Invion announces commencement of phase II clinical trial in Lupus', states:

"The trial is expected to run for approximately 12 months, with safety and efficacy data from the first two cohorts available in approximately six months". - 6 months from this date is January 18th, so the results are not actually so late.

Does the commencement of the trial mean the commencement of recruiting for it? Or would recruiting have already taken place?

In the announcement on 22nd Nov 2013 - 'Chairman's address and CEO presentation', the following comment is made:

"We have made great strides in our autoimmune program with INV103, or Cpn10. Since we last met in this forum, an IND has been opened with the FDA, and a phase II trial in lupus patients is now well underway"

I notice that in this presentation the timeline for Lupus includes for 2H 2014 "Joint Development with partner" and for 1H 2015 "CMC for phase IIB - with partner". This would support what others have been posting recently about not disclosing the initial results due to possible confidential partnering discussions.

There is an impressive pipeline of clinical development into 2015, and if the phase II lupus results are positive and a partnership deal is established that can bring in initial cash flow to help fund the other trials that would significantly de-risk and re-rate us IMO."
