I don't think you have been around this thread for long. Several months ago I posted about a paper published in the Journal of Translational Immunology of 16 May 2011. The authors were from Guy's, King's and St. Thomas' hospitals in London. Roughly it was about PAMPs (pathogen associated molecular principles), DAMPs (damage associated molecular principles) and RAMPs (resolution associated molecular principles). The PAMPs and DAMPs are the particles which rush around in the blood and give messages to cells to be inflamed. The RAMPs are the particles which down regulate the inflammation. They nominated five RAMPs which they had identified. One was HSP10, the molecule on which we have a patent. Our management seem to have been a bit tardy getting onto this but Mitchell Glass referred to it briefly at the AGM and said that we were five years ahead of any competitor. This is huge. We have an enormous amount of clinical data collected over ten years of trials. We have excellent safety data with over three hundred patients in trials. We have manufactured in commercial quantities at moderate cost and have the assays developed to have the drug accepted for purity. This is a huge lead on others attempting to develop one of the other RAMPs. I am sure every major pharma in the world is watching this and we can expect some approaches in the near future. This is a huge development which has not been appreciated by the market, but they will be awakened soon
