I have had a look at the Invion website.
There are links for the trials
For example: http://www.clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT01838694?term=invion&rank=4
It seems that the last updates on this site www.clinical trials was about 22 01.2014
According to these updates there are no results due for any trial until end 1H 2014. That is 14 weeks?
Invion will need funds before then - 4 potential sources
1.Shareholder share purchase plan
2.Share issue to sophisticated investors
3.Farm in by a Pharma
4.Borrow money
1. The directors have suggested that they didn't think they would need to go this route of fund raising again.
2.The embarrassment of the last issue to sophisticated investors at an 18% discount to the shareholders wouldn't probably want to be repeated.
3.This is the puzzling one. The extending of trial completion dates may mean the company doesn't have sufficient data to get a major Pharma over the line at this time.However if Ivion is in confidential negotions then I think they are taking the confidentiality bit to the extreme.
4. CBIO borrowed money - so the company has a track record there.
Given the unreported delays in expected release of trial results I would suggest that the next news will be in relation to company funding.
I would like it to be a farm in.
Which ever way it goes IVX will not go unfunded so I am not concerned by the cash position but I am concerned about the lack of reporting to shareholders about trial recruiting progress
