Mate, I think the genuine renewables are gaining so much traction globally at such a fast rate that like many things, DICE may be out of date before it ever gets off the ground.

Hydrogen may well be the Vic Gov's last chance at monetising it's brown coal resource. That's if a cheaper easier method isn't found in the meantime to supply the world with hydrogen.

IK's on the right track with his solar/hydro plan IMO & if he can also get in on the bc to hydrogen plans we may see our coal ambitions realised. Otherwise forget it and GO the GOLD IMO!!!!!

BCE has missed its opportunity due to slow moving Gov's and lack of funding.

Who would invest real money now to turn dirty brown coal into low quality black coal and expect it to be viable long term?
