Can we have a ban on the word "conversion" from now on unless referring to the ESIOCs? It not accurate and just plain misleading.

There are no ESIO, ESIOA or ESIOB options any more. What people who participated in the ELF have is SHARES (which are just like all the other ESI shares) and a debt. They are held in the name of the shareholder, just in a different SRN that is locked against trading. When the loan is repaid the shares are transferred to the the HIN or SRN that the options were held under.

Shares don't have a strike price, just a cost of acquisition. There is no question of timing in respect of the market price here other than the minor one that by paying out the loan earlier you can slightly decrease you cost of acquisition. The only situation where the current price is an issues is for holders who don't have the cash to pay out the ELF loan and so must sell some shares to release other shares (a smaller number) from the locked account.
