Exactly. There is zero chance that MSFT will want to be seen as overtly cannibalizing its vast partner channel of IT Consultants and Systems Integrator s who specify Azure and then build intranets for their customers. Hell will freeze over before MSFT abandons the partner channel model for a direct sales model.
Sharepoint already has a basic UI for small organizations. MSFT will not build a competitor to LiveTiles Wizdom or Page Designer for enterprises.
Sadly, it also means that unfounded rumors that MSFT would buy LVT are just that......unfounded rumors!:
