Easter break is a very good point. A lot of the traders will be selling - they don't want to be holding over such a long period with no local market action, but overseas will be working on Thursday and Tuesday nights, so we'll have many opportunities for "Black Swan" events to happen, I guess.
On the flip side, a lot of the longer term investors will be using the pre-Easter sell-off to buy.
My timeframe for chart analysis is the daily for timing, but the weekly for trends etc. And I use the Elder set of EMAs - 13, 26, and 100. He uses 13 and 26 because on a weekly chart, that corresponds to a quarter and half year respectively.
Yes - what we see will be determined by the timeframe of the charts we watch, but for a stock like LYC, I find an intraday chart to be too "noisy" and can be a case of not seeing the forest for the trees. Or tunnel vision, if you like.
