I have held a large parcel of LYC in my long term investment portfolio, largely free carry.

For better or worse, over the last 3 year my transactions have been on my trading account as the stock has presented a string of beautiful sine waves up 15%+ then down 15%+, lock in a strong rangebound price band.

Having sold a month ago in the high $6/low $7 with purchases a month or so before that in the high $5 area, it looks to me like a rinse and repeat.

I don't want any investors to lose money, but I sense a period of price weakness again and will buy over the course of this trough on the trading account.

I retain my long holding all the way through as over the medium term, I expect NdPr prices to recover and am not lost to the potential of corporate action, though it is not the basis of my hold.

As a 40 year commodity investor, sometimes reward demands 5-8 years of patience, just as we have seen in the U3O8 space.
