The FED Announced no change??? What were you listening to?
The taper went from 15B a month to 30 B a month. The Fed has had a policy of not buying bounds and raising rates at same time. For obvious reason this does make sense. So last meeting their prediction for 2022 was one interest rate raise in 2022, No earlier than second half. Now with speeding up taper they are saying 3 rate increases in 2022 with first in March.
Do you realy call this no change?

Look at what FED has said in last 3 meetings. First a taper of $10B a month taking a year to end. Ending in November 2022. Then a taper of 15 B a month ending in June. Now the Taper is 30B a month ending in March and a clear statement that they no longer see Inflation as Temporary. So what do you expect in the JAN meeting? No meeting in Feb. Then one in early March. My guess we will hear in January there is an increase coming in March and then 0.25% will happen in March. Interest rates have been down for over a week and in AM they were flat.
