    Its clear that noone can beat Lynas at setting up a LAMP2 in terms of IP, having done the hard yards already.
    Any alternative will need at least as many concessions to transition without causing havoc in the ROW supply chain.
    Seems to me the Japanese (JOGMEC) would have a clear preference for a Lynas operation, along with similar financing and supply guarantees as for LAMP1's 2nd phase.
    Why? Because if WF have control they self fund and have no obligation to Japanese industry generally or Sojitz in particular.
    I also think Lynas have proven a good and responsive partner for them and such relationships are key in doing business in Asia.
    I'd also bet a WF LAMP2 would be fully based in WA within a few years of the C&L being operational. They may do dirty deals with Malaysia but now know they can't be trusted!!
