Lynas is a miner and refiner of “tech metals”. Metals without which our current technologies could not exist. Compounds of the metals, to be precise; actual metals and alloys would be a logical next step but only at scale.
Their mine is arguably the most sustainable on Earth and will one day be amongst the largest open pit mines.
Their refining capacities are also amongst the largest on Earth though they have yet to accomplish the critical sep of Dy and HREE.
Lynas’s vertical integration at this scale is going to continue to prove well worth the wait.
