Malaysia will update its operating conditions for Lynas and allow the Australian rare earth refinery to continue its cracking and leaching activities in the country.
The decision is subject to the condition that Lynas must ensure the radioactive content Water Leach Purification is below a set threshold, said Malaysian Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation Chang Lih Kang in a statement Tuesday.
