Just curious of people's opinion that know more than what I do... When do you think Lynas' share price will peak?
It's likely that they'll be the first to production which will increase supply bringing down the basket price from just before hand. But share prices will rocket once the money starts coming in. My guess is that it will hit a peak just before Molycorp comes online, whether this is just before or after phase 2 for Lynas. Then there may be a steady stream of new mines coming online afterwards. Unless Lynas increase their supply (Mt Weld 2nd phase, Duncan, etc) by so much that the market is flooded (and bringing down the viability of competitor's mines), they will need to focus on taking over other companies to increase the share price. IMHO if they can't do this and get the timing correct, it may take many years before they surpass my predicted pre-Molycorp peak.
