When will prices peak? Its a real interesting over a beer topic..it certainly wont peak on Monday but good news is that the DOW was up 57.9 over night..over the 11,000 mark. Firstly anything saleable as we all accept is governed by "Demand"
So ive headed towards Population growth in say 5 years time. Going on the Wikipedia figures..the world is growing at an average yrarly rate..give or take.. forgetting to take the pill...faulty condoms..80 million..=400 M in 5 years time. Thats like the creation pop.wise of a new America 310M + the Philipines 90M.
You can conclude that China really would struggle to keep up with just their domestic demand of REE,S..let alone export.
Technology advancements..there are still so many more products that dont use REE,s but will..(smaller/lighter/stronger).
Go back 5 years and compare the world from all aspects that used REE,S...you would imagine that over the coming 5 years massive changes will occur.
I feel demand will be overwhelming the more we go into the future..especially when you look how long other mines will get to the processing stage. It wont peak IMHO.
