CT, Lynas cannot afford long term technical issues. For example, the critical point in steel making is the blast furnace. If this furnace fails, Bluescope or any other one blast furnace steel maker makes no pig iron to produce their steel and the company eventually goes bust. Fortunately, Bluescope has a blast furnace in moth balls in case this ever happens. I hope Lynas has a similar contingency plan. This is from a process engineer.
