my understanding of how the previous MOSTI TOL appeals have run is this.
Residents via their Lawyers appeal the decision on TOL..
AG represents Gov. body (MOST)
So today's event is not out of the norm.
The next step may be (if leave for appeal is granted)... that Lynas apply to be a party to the proceedings... thus cutting off the legs of SLSM because by being a party to the appeal, Lynas can present both evidence of it's safety and also evidence of real financial harm if TOL is revoked/frozen.
This seemed to be what happened last time.
