I think that the main reason the REE prices is falling is Japan. Japan was the biggest client of the Chinese by far. After the islands collision between China and Japan, the Japs decided to buy only minimal essential amounts and to use their stored REEs. They are also buying REEs from any other sources in the world. This is the reason to the falling prices I think. When Lynas will start producing the Japs will buy all its available output just to tease the Chinese. Therefore, I reckon Lynas does not need to worry about future demand and prices.
