Did any one else in the US get hit with massive fees for the split?
LYNAS CORP LTD ADR (AUSTRALIA) $0.004860 ADR CANCELLATION FEE
I now owe my broker close to $1,200.00 in fees. When I called they said it was the fee charged by the company. They are looking into it and will follow up with me tomorrow.
I've been an investor for probably close to 10 years now. The last time some funny business happened our US shares were reduced by 15%. And yet I still feel there is so much potential here I remain invested. But Lynas is definitely making it painful to be a supporter. I sure hope that changes in the next 10 years...
My understanding of the two US offerings is that only the ADR is registered with Lynas in the sense that you would receive a dividend if they were ever paid. Not sure what would happen with the other.
