Well folks there's just 3 more weeks to go before the Malaysian Government gives its approval for an extension to Lynas' operating license. To not approve it would see International investment totally disappear from Malaysia for at least a decade.
There is no way the newly-elected Government would risk the country becoming an international economic pariah ...
Economic growth, jobs and hard currency are totally dependent on the country maintaining good relations with global companies, foreign Governments, etc.
