Problem being i don't know how much competitive profitability versus the Chinese actually matters. In a command economy the state's willingness to absorb near infinite losses for whatever the desired outcome shouldn't be underestimated. Look at all the ghost cities they are building to maintain the probably fictitious 7% growth rate. Hopefully the Chinese state will not want to continue absorbing losses for market share forever. It is one of the big unpredictables in Lynas' survival.
