Several of Donald Trump's former aides have expressed different views about him as president. John Kelly, who served as White House chief of staff from 2017 to 2019, responded to a question from CNN about the possibility of Trump serving a second term by saying, “God help us.” This indicates Kelly's negative view of Trump's potential return to the White House.

John R. Bolton, the former National Security Advisor, in his book “The Room Where It Happened” made several claims about President Trump including, among others:
    - that Trump told Xi Jinping that building detention camps for Uighur Muslims was the “right thing to do”.
    - Trump said it would be “cool” to invade Venezuela and that the country was “really part of the US”
    - Trump was ignorant of basic geopolitical facts and his decisions were often driven by a desire for re-election
    - Trump was willing to make deals with dictators, including North Korea's Kim Jong-un, without considering the long-term consequences
    - that there were times when Trump tried to stop criminal investigations.

    Kind regards,
