If you look at the Rare Earth Futures site, you'll see where the article was first published and who wrote it.

It's pleasing to see the excellent reaction to it among posters on HC.

Unfortunately, SMSL and other Lynas opponents have never made similar contributions to Kuantan. You must ask why. They seem to have plenty of money to throw away on court action against Lynas, yet put not one cent into improving their own community.

Also, this support by Lynas for young students was completely unsolicited, merely the actions of a community-minded company and its staff, interested in making a worthwhile contribution.

SMSL blatantly paints a false picture of Lynas as some kind of evil entity, a Fukushima devil, interested only in making as much money as it can while causing untold damage to the community and environment.

Clearly, Lynas is committed to benefiting the community, rather than harming it.

Shame on SMSL.
